Welcome to Haven Grounds

Hi, I’m Abby, a farmer and an aspiring entrepreneur, passionate about sustainable farming, environmental stewardship, and community transformation. Writing is another way I connect with the world, reflecting my journey of faith and resilience, inspiring joy and cultivate hope. As a researcher, I am deeply committed to finding practical ways to improve sustainable farming practices, with a focus on irrigation farming. Haven Grounds serves as a platform where I merge my calling, passions, skills and interests, encouraging others to cultivate purpose, embrace stewardship, and work together toward a healthier and more abundant future. 

Psalm 51:12) says, restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me thy free spirit.  A state you get to where you can be free and willing to do what’s right and appropriate for your joy, peace and growth. You don’t do things simply because society says so, but because it’s right for God and your spirit. I am a student of life and nature. I believe for one to have a fulfilled, peaceful life, you must know yourself first, study who you are and that is possible by getting to know who your Creator is, your source. This is the foundation of your life choices. The goal is for you to live a fulfilled life, peaceful and joyful life through the message of faith, hope and love in Christ and living a healthy lifestyle through sustainable food production.

Haven Grounds represents who I am and encompasses all that I do—a unified platform for my passions, vision, and purpose. The concept of a “safe haven” inspired me, as I sought happiness and serenity in my own life. One day, a voice led me to Isaiah 58:11: “I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places…” This verse marked the beginning of my spiritual journey. God always leads us back to our true purpose. Revelation 22:2 speaks of the tree of life and healing for the nations. I now see my life and gifts aligned with His purpose, and Haven Grounds reflects that calling, guided by God’s wisdom and healing.
